Page 96 “the world is nothing but CHANGE….

They are disorderly EVENTS that do NOT FORM an orderly queue- they crowd around chaotically… change happening, that is diffuse, scattered & disorderly.” Always happening & NOT Stasis, which the Fluddite calls FLUX, a World that is its variables in a ceaseless process of CHANGE.
Page 98 “ The world is NOT a collection of Things; it is a collection of Events.”
THINGS persist in Time, while EVENTS have a limited duration.
Conversely a KISS is made up of networks of KISSES, not of stories over time but where PERHAPS some atomic dust from the past becomes the fixed history of that Past so that Dinosaurs & Digging the Past become today’s exploration.
Everything is an ATOM that becomes an agitation of occurrences that are EVENTS. Fluddites call this agitation a form of Fluxible Change .
Page 108 “an objective global Present does NOT exist.”
For a Fluddite, the most we can speak of is a PRESENT which is RELATIVE to a MOVING OBSERVER because I am my possibilities everchanging, changed
so that MAYBE it is an EVERCHANGING EVENT that is FLUXIBLE.
But then what is real for Fluddites is different from what is Real for you even though we would like to use the expression REAL- then MAYBE is the only compromise to a persistent ILLUSION of TIME.
Page 121 Describing Memory and Nostalgia.
“ It is not ABSENCE that causes SORROW. It is affection & love. Without them absences would cause NO PAIN – Even the pain caused by absence, in the end it is something GOOD & BEAUTIFUL because it feeds on that which brings meaning to life.
Page 132 “We are all ATOMS in a Fluxible Universe. It is like this with ALL surfaces (Atoms) For example a dense marble table would look like a fog if we were shrunk to a small enough atomic scale so that Everything in the World becomes BLURRED when it is seen close up. This Emergence of a Scale is based upon a Micro/Macro power to observe inside the BLUR – where Atoms are in a constantly moving state that Fluddites calls FLUX.
My Comments on the BLUR Scale
We are ATOMS in a Fluxible Quantum Universe with a Particular Beginning that becomes Multiple Configurations so that AI Fluxibility becomes the Fluddite’s – MAYBE where the fluxible changes occur between You & Me, trying to achieve a mutual agreement on the Causes & Effects associated with our points of view.
At best it is a BLURRED outcome in Space & Time, a vision of future choices with What ifs that are TRUE or False or MAYBE need more discussion.
Page 151 INDEXICALITY: “Science aspires to Objectivity, to a shared point of view about which it is possible to agree. BUT experience of the World comes from within from a particular perspective which is an INDEX that the Fluddite calls MAYBE where Content & Context are always human Points of View versus an AI virtual electronic version of the TRUTH.”
Emptiness is Empty: Nagarjuna Page 155 “ESSENCE for the “I” is nothing other than the vast interconnected set of phenomena that constitute it, each one dependent on something else- The circle of thoughts DOES NOT exist- what language expresses DOES NOT exist.”
There are TWO levels, namely, Apparent Conventional Reality with its illusory & perspectival aspects & Ultimate Reality where its Essence is its absence- gone
Do Flying Donkeys Exist?
Pages 143-48 David Lewis says Yes.
To Exist is the Metaphysical Challenge –>Yes or No-> in Worlds outside our own BIASED conclusions (Beliefs). For clarity the question involves Modality regarding arguments pertaining to possibility or necessity.
Simply stated by a Fluddite we should say that MAYBE is always associated with the Existence of Truth & its Possible Futures.
Consider the works of H. Bosch, JMW Turner, J. Pollock, P. Picasso, S.Dali M.Chagall or the Surrealists who make the possibility of Flying Donkeys a reality. If these artists are seeing the Existence of Different Worlds–> Dream Worlds–> Sci-Fi Worlds or even the Holy Sites & the Miracle cures, MAYBE it is a REAL POSSIBILITY. Why Not!
